I have my roots in Buddhist Tantra, but have always been fascinated by yoga. After practicing Ashtanga yoga for ten years, I discovered Yin Yoga. Working with connective tissue – the essence of Yin – offers many physical benefits: Yin helped me heal from a chronic back problem and a torn meniscus. Opening the fascia provides strength to the deeper structures of the body and builds a healthy, strong skeleton, tendons and ligaments. Moreover, Yin is a deepening addition to the Pilates technique.

What I also appreciate is the experience itself: the silence, the letting go, the deep but accessible layers, and the dynamics of each posture that subtly attunes to what the body needs at that moment. But most of all I want to share with my students the journey inward, where a different world opens up. Yin offers a gentle way to be in the present and find a place that is completely in harmony with all that IS now.

Diani 2025, “ “Linda is in a class of her own in teaching Yin Yoga. The peace, patience and knowledge that she shares with you during her lessons are incredibly pleasant and soothing. You simply have to experience this yourself. We are very happy that Linda is giving this 75-minute lesson in our studio on Mondays at 5:30 PM.”
