Meike had been familiar with Pilates for eight years when she discovered the added value of Pilates Premium Place. She was looking for a studio that was closer to home and where she could find depth for the recovery of a hernia. She found what she was looking for.

“I didn’t have surgery for my hernia, but it was important that I develop a stronger back to prevent my symptoms from getting worse. I had been doing Pilates for a few years, but because of the hernia I was looking for more depth and a studio a little closer to home and ended up at Pilates Premium Place. That’s when I understood what my physiotherapist meant! I now knew what it felt like to train my back muscles in the best way.

I started with a ‘back program’ specifically to strengthen my back muscles. After that I quickly moved on to the regular group. I prefer to do four lessons a week, but three is really the minimum. The great thing about Pilates Premium Place is that you can easily switch between times or days, you can easily arrange that via the app. There is a group for every level with excellent guidance. The alternation between the lessons on the mat and those on the Reformer is nice, that keeps it fun. You learn new things every lesson or are reminded of the best way to perform the exercises. It is always nice to experience that the instructors are so good. Quality really comes first at Pilates Premium Place.

I am a teacher myself so I recognize a good instructor and of course there are differences in the way of teaching. All teachers at Pilates Premium Place are equally involved, nice and enthusiastic. The way of teaching is always good, whoever the instructor is, I just notice it in my back, it has really improved a lot. The complaints have almost disappeared. In addition, the atmosphere is always very relaxed; I never have the idea that I have to go to Pilates. I really like going, it is not a chore. It feels more like a gift because I benefit so much from it.”
